About Vida Mia

Founded in 2018, Vida Mia began as a cocktail class and food pairing event in Chicago with the purpose of forming community to break bread and toast. Our founder Argelia created this experience to bring people together and to dispel negative stereotypes caused by the national rhetoric at the time. Fast forward, our reach is growing by in-person coworking and cultural social events.

    In-Person Experiences

    Vida Mia partners with Employee Resource Groups (ERGS), event planners, and business owners to produce events. Each experience is uniquely shaped for the occasion.

    Virtual Experiences

    Vida Mia offers virtual classes about the heritage, history, and people of Mexico that produce Mezcal. Argelia is earning her Mezcalogists certificate from the University of Michoacan to begin offering these classes in Summer 2026.

  • Vida Mia Cocktails Hybrid Experience

    Hybrid Experiences

    Vida Mia hosts virtual and in-person experiences for the office. This can include holiday and heritage month celebrations or team happy hours. Vida Mia will customize a beverage kit for each in-person or virtual class attendee.
